<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device which allows an operator to easily check if the piezoelectric device is sufficiently sealed. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric device (100) includes: a piezoelectric vibration piece (130) vibrating when a voltage is applied; a first plate (110) and a second plate (120) which are made of transparent plate materials and house the piezoelectric vibration piece; and a sealing material (150a) disposed between the first plate and the second plate and also disposed around the first plate and the second plate in a frame shape of a predetermined width to join the first plate to the second plate.
