<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic damper that prevents abnormal noises caused when a rotating body rotates while enhancing damping performance. <P>SOLUTION: The dynamic damper 1 is configured such that a housing chamber 3 is provide in a position separated from the rotation center of a rotating member 2 that torsionally vibrates; an inner wall surface of the housing chamber 3 defines a cylindrical rolling surface 4; and the housing chamber 3 houses an inertial mass body 5 reciprocating along the rolling surface 4 while setting the geometric center 19 of the rolling surface 4 as a center of the reciprocating movement, according to torsional vibrations of the rotating member 2. The dynamic damper further includes a rolling supporting member 7 supporting the inertial mass body 5 so as to freely roll relative to the rolling surface 4 while coming into contact with the rolling surface 4 at two or more points facing each other on the diameter of the rolling surface 4 and the plurality of points including the geometric center 19 of the rolling surface 4 on lines or in a polygon defined by connecting the points with one another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
