PURPOSE: A production method of a three-dimensional image and endoscope equipment using the same are provided to detect lesions by obtaining depth information for a photographing portion with processing operation using pattern light. CONSTITUTION: An illuminating unit(110) selectively illuminates pattern light in which radiation of constant portions is blocked to a photographing portion. An image process unit(130) creates an image for expressing depth information of the photographing information based on the size of shadows formed on the photographing portion. A depth calculating unit calculates depth of the shadows suing each size of the shadows formed on the photographing portion. An image creating unit creates an image for expressing the depth information of the photographing portion using the each depth of the shadows.
