<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crack from occurring to ribs that constitute a guide part for guiding rotational transfer of an endless belt. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing unit comprises: a heating roller 110; an endless belt 122 that rotationally transfers with rotation of the heating roller 110; a long metal plate 130 that is arranged in a manner to turn its longitudinal direction to a rotational axis direction of the heating roller 110 on the inside of the endless belt; a pressing part 128 that is arranged in a manner to attach its longitudinal direction along the longitudinal direction of the metal plate on one end side in a lateral direction of the metal plate, and presses the endless belt to the heating roller; a long part 138 that is arranged in a manner to attach its longitudinal direction along the longitudinal direction of the metal plate on the other end side in the lateral direction of the metal part; multiple ribs 152 that are provided at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the metal plate, are connected to any one of the pressing part and the long part, and extend toward the other one of the pressing part and the long part but are not connected to the other one of the pressing part and the long part; and a guide part 126 for guiding the rotational transfer of the endless belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
