<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire-to-board connector capable of maintaining a fitting state of a connector even if a withdrawing force is applied to an electric wire. <P>SOLUTION: A wire-to-board connector 1 comprises a plug 3 attached to an electric wire 2 and a receptacle 5 mounted on a substrate 4. The plug 3 and the receptacle 5 are formed by folding a metal plate. By fitting the plug 3 into the receptacle 5, the electric wire 2 is electrically connected to the substrate 4. The receptacle 5 includes a container 6 formed in a tubular shape. The plug 3 includes an insertion portion 31 inserted into the container 6. A claw portion 38 is provided in the insertion portion 31, and a surface 16 to be engaged is provided in the container 6. By inserting the insertion portion 31 into the container 6, the claw portion 38 engages with the surface 16 to be engaged and the plug 3 fits into the receptacle 5. The claw portion 38 and the surface 16 to be engaged is configured so as to prohibit the withdrawing force F applied to the electric wire 2 from releasing the engagement between the claw portion 38 and the surface 16 to be engaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
