<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which allows an inspector to efficiently and stably perform an inspection for flaws and dents on a surface of the liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: An inspection pattern 13 which edges an inspection target area is provided on an external surface of a second electrode substrate 2 which is to be an inspection target for flaws or dents. The inspection pattern 13 is constituted by an aggregate in which each of multiple pieces of a flaw inspection pattern 13a including the length corresponding to a flaw inspection standard, and each of multiple pieces of a flaw inspection pattern 13b including the length corresponding to a dent inspection standard are alternately provided along the edge of the inspection target area. Such the constitution makes it possible for an inspector to accurately determine the inspection target area only by looking at the inspection pattern 13, and efficiently perform the quality determination of flaws and dents by referring to the flaw inspection pattern 13a and the dent inspection pattern 13b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
