PURPOSE: A treatment method of organic material containing drainage and a treatment apparatus of organic material containing drainage are provided to efficiently implement treatment processes by reducing the frequency of a chemical washing operation. CONSTITUTION: A treatment method of organic material containing drainage includes the following: organic material containing drainage is anaerobically bio-treated in an anaerobic bio-treatment bath(1); the treated water is aerobically bio-treated in an aerobic bio-treatment bath(2); and the treated water is solid-liquid separated. The sludge retention time of the aerobic bio-treatment process is controlled to be more than or equal to 15 days.
