<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for monitoring abrasion of a trolley wire, detecting an arc which is generated when the trolley wire is separated from a pantograph and showing a lower surface, an abrasive surface, of the trolley wire. <P>SOLUTION: The device for monitoring abrasion of a trolley wire includes: an area camera 1 installed on a roof 10a of a vehicle 10 and facing a pantograph 11 to monitor the pantograph 11; a line sensor camera 2 installed vertically facing up on the roof 10a of the vehicle 10 to image the lower surface of the trolley wire 13; and an image processing device 3 that inputs and records an image captured by the area camera 1 and the line sensor camera 2 and shows an image captured by the line sensor camera 2 when an arc is generated from the pantograph 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
