Disclosed are a terminal device and a method thereof for reducing intra-device interference, which belong to the field of interference processing. The method includes: receiving a control signalling for interference processing sent by a base station; and according to the control signalling, stopping related operations in a non-scheduling period of the communication mode corresponding to the control signalling. The terminal device includes: a receiving module, and a stopping module. The embodiment of the present invention enables the other communication modes to carry out data transmission in the non-scheduling period of the communication mode corresponding to the control signalling, by way of stopping by the terminal device the related operations in the non-scheduling period of the communication mode corresponding to the control signalling according to the control signalling for interference processing sent by the base station. This reduces the interference to the other communication modes due to the communication mode corresponding to the control signalling in the non-scheduling period, and thus reduces the intra-device interference of the terminal device in the non-scheduling period.
