<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device, a storage program and a control method capable of appropriately preventing fragmentation of video data and voice data. <P>SOLUTION: In a video recorder 10, all storage area 200 of a hard disk 104 is divided into 32 partitions and a partition 201-1 to a partition 201-32 are configured. A storage processing part 112 periodically selects the partition 201-1 to a partition 201-32 and stores video data and voice data in the selected partition.
