<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape applicator which can be flexibly adapted to a larger number of tape application manners than conventional devices. <P>SOLUTION: An application arm 68 for applying an adhesive tape 16 on a container 10 positioned at a bridge portion between an introduction conveyor 12 and a transporting conveyor 14 is disposed on each of both right and left sides of the bridge portion. Each application arm 68 is configured so as to be independently operated by a transverse mechanism 70 operated by a drive motor for traverse motion 80 and a lifting mechanism 72 operated by a drive motor for lifting 86. An adhesive tape 16 can be applied at any positions in any applied quantities of the adhesive tape for such types of containers 10 that the applied quantities of the adhesive tape 16 are different on the right and left sides of the container 10 by independently operating the right and left side application arms 68, 68 according to the manners of application of the adhesive tape 16 on the container 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
