<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system capable of highly efficiently and stably generating and supplying electric power. <P>SOLUTION: The photovoltaic power generation system 100 comprises a generating device 30 including a photoelectric conversion section 2. Electric power generated by the photoelectric conversion section 2 is supplied to an external device or system power requested to be supplied and is stored in a storage battery 60. The generating device 30 performs water decomposition using electric power not supplied to the outside of the device, of the electric power generated by the photoelectric conversion section 2, to generate hydrogen.
