A camera lens assembly for a portable terminal is provided to have no need to expose a lens housing due to convenience of user operation by connecting the lens housing rotatably combined on the portable terminal to a driving unit for rotating the lens housing by a bevel gear, thereby protecting the lens housing from an external impact and improving structural stability of the camera lens assembly. A camera lens assembly(100) for a portable terminal comprises the followings: a lens housing(101) which is rotatably combined for a first rotation axis(A1) extended in one direction on the portable terminal; and a driving unit(102) which is rotatably combined for a second rotation axis extended in the other direction on the portable terminal. The lens housing(101) interworks with the driving unit(102). A photographing direction is controlled if the lens housing(101) is rotated according as a user rotates the driving unit(102).
