<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oral dosage form containing a pharmacological activity ingredient together with a promoter for improving a bioavailability and/or absorption of the activity ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The promoter is an ester, ether, or salt of a medium-chain fatty acid, or derivative of the medium-chain fatty acid, desirably being solid at room temperature having a carbon chain length of 6-20 carbon atoms. The promoter is selected from a group of sodium caprylate, sodium caprate, and sodium laurate.
