<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that bleeding at a lower side spreads wider than at an upper side by gravity action on impact drops, resulting in deterioration of image quality when interlace printing is performed in a horizontal typing device. <P>SOLUTION: When dots Df are formed in a forward path and dots Db are formed between the dots Df of the forward path in a backward path, droplet amount of liquid droplets Ib to be ejected between the dots Df, which is ejected by liquid droplets If, in the backward path is lessened with respect to droplet amount of the liquid droplets If ejected in the forward path.
