<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon particle for an electrode, which is suitable as an electrode material and exhibits high charge/discharge efficiency and durability when used as an anode material of a lithium-ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon particle for an electrode contains metal particles forming an alloy with lithium, is formed by an aggregation of numerous particulates made of carbon, and has a hollow open-cell structure in which a plurality of interconnected pores are formed in gaps among the particulates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
