<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head substrate, a recording head using the head substrate and a recorder for detecting a head temperature correctly at shorter intervals. <P>SOLUTION: The head substrate equipped with a diode sensor for detecting the temperature is provided with a latch circuit composed of an FET and capacitor for latching head temperature data detected by the diode sensor with a latch signal used for the latch of a recording data signal.
