<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, a communication device and a communication method capable of detecting abnormality of a sever without applying load on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A request part 12 of a client 10 transmits information for requesting a MAC address of a server during operation which has a virtual IP address via a transmission/reception part 11. A notification part 24 of a server 20 transmits the MAC address to the client 10 via a transmission/reception part 21 if storing a virtual IP address besides the IP address unique to the server in a storage part 22 when receiving the information from the transmission/reception part 11 of the client 10. A detection part 13 of the client 10, if the MAC address from the server having the virtual IP address received by transmission/reception part 11 is different from the MAC address immediately before being associated with the IP address stored in the storage part 12, detects that the server having the latter MAC address is abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
