Arrangement for a composite made of inorganic matrix and embedded organic phase as optoelectronic active medium in light-emitting diode (LED) or other light-emitting devices e.g. light emitting transistors, is claimed, where an organic dye is embedded in an inorganic material and is present in it as a molecule or cluster of molecules with a preferred diameter of 1 molecule up to clusters with 100 nm. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a component for an inorganic-organic-hybrid-LED, having an area with the composite; and (2) producing the inorganic-organic-hybrid-LED for use in a light emitting component like LED or light emitting transistors.
