The present invention relates to a power generating apparatus which improves energy efficiency. The hydraulic power generating apparatus comprises: an upper tank and a lower tank; a motor pump and a turbine generator installed within the lower tank, and water pipes connected to the motor pump, to the turbine generator, and to the upper tank; an auxiliary tank installed in the inner upper portion of the upper tank; and a turbine generator installed in the inner lower portion of the upper tank, wherein a water pipe is connected to one side of the auxiliary tank, another water pipe connected to the other side of the auxiliary tank is connected to the turbine generator, and a water pipe which bypasses the aforementioned water pipe is connected to the upper tank. The power generating apparatus of the present invention improves energy efficiency, maximizes energy efficiency, has a simple configuration and is easy to install, and reduces maintenance costs. Further, the power generating apparatus of the present invention is an eco-friendly apparatus which uses hydraulic power and tidal power harnessed from nature. |
