PURPOSE: A measuring machine and a measuring method for molten metal are provided to easily perform management and data backup works by controlling the functions of the measuring machine using a processor. CONSTITUTION: A measuring machine for molten metal comprises an input unit(20), a converter(30), an I/O system(40), a processor(50), a display(60), and a power supply unit(70). The input unit is connected to a sensor and receives a measurement signal. The sensor measures the temperature, component content, level, and/or flux of molten metal. The converter amplifies the signal inputted through the input unit. The I/O system converts the amplified signal into a digital signal. The processor calculates the temperature and component content of the molten metal from the outputted digital signal. The display displays the calculated temperature and component content of the molten metal. The power supply unit supplies power to the converter, the I/O system, the processor, and the display.
