PURPOSE: A communication apparatus and control method therefor are provided to select a service by changing the display of a providing service according to the access of communication apparatuses. CONSTITUTION: A display unit selects and displays services. A detection unit(1207) detects the cancel of a connection or a communication apparatus connection. A control unit(1204) changes the service in which is selected and displayed by the display unit when the communication apparatus connection is detected. A determination unit(1212) determines a connection maintain time period. A providing unit(1210) provides the service in which is displayed and selected by the display unit when the connection maintain time period is longer than the determined time period.
