<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly prevent occurrence of liquid junction among generation cells with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell stack 10, a plurality of generation cells 12 is stacked in a direction of gravity to an electrode surface as a horizontal surface. An end plate 20b, which is a lower end of the fuel cell stack 10 in a stack direction, has a discharge pipe 68a forming a lower end of an oxidant gas discharge connection hole 28b. An inner circumference surface of the discharge pipe 68a is formed spiral grooves 70 to block continuous water droplets.
