The switchable lever (1) has side walls (3,4) connected by a cross beam (2), a bearing (6) at an end (5) of a recess (10) and an attachment (9) for a gas exchange valve at another end (7) of the recess. The cross beam has neck rollers (11,12) that run with two axes (15) between ends of the recess. The former neck roller is held relative to the axes in an inner side of the former side wall in an axial manner. A position of a circuit serves on a large valve lift. The lever is made of thin steel sheet.
