<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable marking device and a cable marking method in which identification information can be marked on a cable, portability is excellent, working is easy, the marked identification information is hard to be erased, a hitherto-used die-stamping board is not necessary, and working at a safe temperature is made possible. <P>SOLUTION: The cable marking device is provided with a cable mounting hold means 12 for mount-holding the cable, a sheet holding means 14 for holding a wound marking sheet 18 on which identification information of the cable is printed, a sheet recovering means 16 for recovering the marking sheet 18 supplied from the sheet holding means 14, a thermal transfer means 22 which is provided with a thermal head 20 which is pressed on the cable while the marking sheet 18 is intervened, so as to thermally transfer the identification information on the surface of the cable, and a sheet recovering control mechanism 26 which is linked with the thermal transfer means 22 to rotate the sheet recovering means 16 and winding-recovers the marking sheet 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
