PURPOSE: A video call connection method and a display device using the same are provided to display other users watching the same contents and connect a video call. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit receives information about users watching the same contents as contents which is presently reproduced(200). A display unit displays the user with the received information(210). A user input unit receives the selection of at least one of the displayed user(220). The communication unit connects a video call with the selected user(230).
