<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve rapid three-dimensional positioning. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional sound wave receiving device 3 includes three pairs of sound receivers having two microphones for receiving sound wave signals. The first pair microphones, two microphones 21, 22, are disposed on an X axis symmetrically with respect to the coordinate origin 2. The second pair microphones, two microphones 23, 24, are disposed symmetrically with respect to the coordinate origin 2, on a Y axis passing through the coordinate origin 2 and perpendicular to the X axis. The third pair microphones, two microphones 25, 26, are disposed symmetrically with respect to the coordinate origin 2, on a Z axis passing through the coordinate origin 2 and perpendicular to the X axis and the Y axis.
