<p>The case (1) has an elongated support body (2) including upper and lower tubular elements (4, 5) that are assembled by telescopic fitting and retained in an axial position predetermined by a locking unit (6) i.e. bayonet. The locking unit has a non-retractable pin (7) and a slot (8) that are carried by the corresponding tubular elements. The locking unit passes from an unlocked position to a locked position in which the pin is inserted in the slot, and from the locked position to the unlocked position, by simple relative displacement of the tubular elements in rotation. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting length of a support body of a case and for locking tubular elements at the length of the support body of the case.</p> |
