PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially utilize a characteristic of an action history accumulated with a lower attribute while using an action history accumulated with an upper attribute. SOLUTION: The item preference degree calculation system (20) for practically using a preference degree of an item accumulated in each attribute having a hierarchical structure and obtaining a preference degree of a certain item to an attribute of a user includes: a preference degree holding part (23) holding the preference degree to the item by the attributes as action history information; an attribute hierarchical structure holding part (22) holding hierarchical structure information of the attribute; and a preference degree calculation unit (40) integrating the preference degrees from the preference degrees held in the preference degree holding part based on the hierarchical structure information in the attribute hierarchical structure holding part, and calculating the preference degree associated to the requested attribute.
