PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a flexible semiconductor device that has a wide operation margin and is easily made large-sized by achieving a thin-film semiconductor element such that operation characteristics of the whole circuit do not change even when some stress is applied; an electro-optical device; and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device has a thin-film transistor 8 on a substrate 100, and the thin-film transistor 8 includes a first channel region 1c and a second channel region 1c that complementarily change in carrier mobility inside a channel as the substrate 100 curves.
