PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separating module and oil-water separator having the same, capable of completely separating oil and fat while suppressing decreases in passing flow rate with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The oil-water separator is mainly comprised of a pump and an oil separating unit. The oil separating unit has an oil separating module 40. The oil separating module 40 is prepared as follows. As a filter piece 42, nonwoven fabric cutting piece made of polypropylene is prepared. A net bag 41 is charged with a plurality of filter pieces 42, and a filter material 42C having elasticity is prepared. A flow plate 43 is disposed on an upper end face of the filter material 42C, and an upper end of the net bag 41 is bounded with string 44, thereby completing the oil separating module 40. The oil separating module 40 has a substantially columnar shape, and the axial length of the module 40 is larger than each of the maximum widths of the upper end face and lower end face. |
