<p>The body (10) has a center tunnel (16) extended within region of a chassis (20) in a vehicle longitudinal direction and projected into the chassis against a base structure (18). Lower longitudinal carrier elements (22) of the center tunnel approximately run on height of the base structure. Upper longitudinal carrier elements (24, 26) of the center tunnel run at a vertical distance above the base structure. The lower and the upper carrier elements are connected by transverse reinforcement elements (30) e.g. retaining elements, which extend within the center tunnel.</p>
