The lamp (10) has a bulb (16) for projecting in an interior part of a bowl-shaped reflector (15) and overlapped by a cap-shaped covering element (27) that is formed from a wound wire i.e. spring steel. The covering element comprises a connecting section and a blend prevention section that is arranged centrally relative to a light withdrawal surface (L) of the lamp. The connecting section is fastened to a lamp housing (11) without tools, and the blend prevention section exhibits a cone-shaped or a trapezoidal cross section.
