The plate has a cooling portion i.e. metal sheet (12), equipped with fins (22) forming guiding channels for a coolant i.e. air. A reactivate portion is in contact with reactive of a fuel cell i.e. reactive gases, and an electrode membrane assembly. The cooling portion is formed of a metal or metal alloy part. The reactive portion is formed of a part made of plastic or composite material connected on a metal part. The cooling portion consists of a flat part made up of a copper alloy, a amak(RTM: zinc-based alloy), an aluminum alloy, an aluminum bronze alloy, a stainless steel, an alloy containing silver material, a conducting plastic, a conducting composite material or a conducting polymer. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fuel cell plate. |
