DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HOME APPLIANCE

PURPOSE: A diagnostic system for a home appliance is provided to obtain various kinds of information necessary for diagnosis by diagnosing a state of a home appliance through the analysis of a signal sound including product information. CONSTITUTION: According to the input of a signal output command, a control unit(10) generates a control signal of a predetermined format according to the product information including failure information and driving information. A converting unit(60) converts the control signal into a modulation signal of the predetermined frequency band. A sound output unit(72) outputs the demodulation signal in signal sound. A diagnosing unit(260) analyzes the detected data of a signal detector(250) to judge the failure state of the home appliance beaded on the product information.
