PURPOSE: A control method of a drum washing machine is provided to sterilize the bacterial and to remove the smell from the water by sufficiently generating the steam through the control of a steam supply valve for a washing stroke. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a drum washing machine comprises the step(S22) of preheating a steam heater if a given time passes after the water is supplied(S21). If the preheating of the steam heater is completed, the step of switching a steam supply valve on for a first time and off for a second time is repeated until the washing stroke time passes(S23). At the washing stroke, a drum moves to the left and the right for the washing stroke time(S24). |
