<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a fuel cell separator and a fuel cell separator excellent in corrosion resistance, crack resistance and conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: With the use of an aluminum alloy as a base material 2 of the fuel cell separator 1, pure aluminum is deposited on the base material 2 to form a pure aluminum layer 11, pure titanium is deposited on the pure aluminum layer 11 to form a titanium layer 12, and amorphous carbon is deposited on the titanium layer 12 to form an amorphous carbon layer 13. With the amorphous carbon layer 13, infiltration of water as a cause of corrosion of the base material 2 is prevented to enhance the corrosion resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
