<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "display device" varying a visual field direction by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display 100 includes: a liquid crystal panel 110 which includes a plurality of pixels arranged like a two-dimensional array, emits light modulated by selected pixels in a first group among the plurality of pixels to a visual field direction V1, emits light modulated by selected pixels in a second group to a visual field direction V2, wherein the visual field directions V1, V2 are symmetrical with respect to the normal direction N perpendicular to a plane of a liquid crystal panel substrate; and an optical refraction sheet 120 which is provided on the surface of the liquid crystal display 100, and refracts light in the visual field directions V1, V2 so that the visual field directions V1, V2 become asymmetrical with respect to the normal direction N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
