<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves fabricating a deicing mat (3) with an array of heating resistors made of metal or conductive fibers, independent of a leading edge structure (1), where the mat contains an elastomer or composite matrix. The mat is placed between the structure and a metallic external protection shielding (2), where the mat only covers a part (4) of an external surface of the structure. The shielding entirely covering the mat, is fixed on a part (5), of the surface, that is uncovered by the mat. Filling material is injected in a space defined between the mat and the structure. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for assembling a deicing mat and a metallic external protection shielding on a structure i.e. leading edge structure, (claimed) of an aeronautical aerofoil.
