PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus which can be installed outdoors and hardly generates troubles in an image display panel and a circuit board for controlling the image display panel. SOLUTION: In the image display apparatus, a first accommodation space and a second accommodation space 22 located on the rear side of a rear wall 125 composing the first accommodation space are formed in a housing having a waterproof structure, an image display panel and an evaporator 191 for an air conditioner for cooling the image display panel are arranged in the first accommodation space, and a circuit board 11e for controlling the operation of the image display panel is arranged in the second accommodation space 22. The evaporator 191 is arranged on the rear side of the image display panel to guide air on the rear side of a rear wall 125 of the first accommodation space to the rear side of a rear wall composing the second accommodation space 22 by an air fan 72.
