PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor capable of enriching a technique. SOLUTION: The linear motor 1 includes: two main magnets 13; two coils 9; internal auxiliary magnets 15; stator frames 7; and needle frames 11. The internal auxiliary magnets 15 are formed in annular shape, magnetized in the axial direction, and arranged in a coaxial shape to the two main magnets 13 between the two main magnets 13 and so that the magnetic poles of the same kind as the magnetic poles are directed towards the magnetic poles on the two coil 9 sides of the two main magnets 13. The needle frames 11 consist of non-magnetic materials holding the two main magnets 13 and the internal auxiliary magnets 15.
