PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilingual database server and a multilingual database system which can easily achieve multilingualization with extremely small alternation. SOLUTION: A database system originally created so as to be made to correspond only to Japanese includes a mapping table for discriminating a program in association with language with a URL parameter character string in performing alternation for multilingualization afterwards. Thus, it is possible to execute a program corresponding to proper language according to the existence of the mapping table. Furthermore, a server is configured to, with respect to items in which the language of subjects cannot be discriminated on the specifications of an original program, create a non-display transfer message to be transferred to a proper program for display by checking the language of the subjects, and transmit it to the client. Thus, it is possible to promote smooth multilingualization while minimizing the alternation of the original program by providing a subject type discrimination/transferring part for determining the language of the subjects, and generating proper URL for transfer.
