The present invention relates to a flame-retardant adhesive composition. More particularly, the present invention relates to a flame-retardant adhesive composition containing 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of melamine cyanurate, 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of magnesium hydroxide, 7 to 15 parts by weight of agalmatolite, 15 to 30 parts by weight of zeolite, and 60 to 75 parts by weight of sodium silicate, as well as to a method for preparing same. The present invention provides a flame-retardant adhesive composition in which an organic retardant, an inorganic retardant, and sodium silicate are mixed together to achieve improved environmental friendliness, flame-retardant properties, heat-insulating properties, adhesive properties, and water resistance. The invention also provides a method for preparing such a composition. |
