PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a terminal computer on a network autonomously obtain an application program without depending on a server. SOLUTION: While managing one or a plurality of application programs 3 which work on terminal computers 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d (hereinafter, abbreviated as 1) on a network, an agent computer program is provided with agents 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d (hereinafter, abbreviated as 2) which perform network communication for the application 3. The agent 2 includes: a determination means which performs determination whether the required application program is included in one or a plurality of the application programs 3 which are management targets of the agent 2; and an acquisition means to acquire the required application program from either the agent 2 of other terminal computers 1, or the management server 4 on the network when it is determined that the required application program is not included.
