PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the supporting structure of power converter for a railroad vehicle that suppresses the propagation of vibration of a power converter for the railroad vehicle to the floor panels inside the vehicle, suppresses the excessive bending vibration of a hanging-bolt shank caused by the vibration of the vehicle accompanied with its running, produces less noise, and prevents equipment from falling off. SOLUTION: An enclosure 2 of a power converter 1 for the railroad vehicle is elastically supported, in such a state that brackets 3, attached to the enclosure 2, is held between a pair of rubber vibration isolators 11, 12, inserted into the shank 10b of a hanging bolt 10 suspending from each hanging rails 7, and screwed to the extending end of the shank 10b with the nut 14 screwed via a washer 13. The shank 10b is inserted into the bracket 3 without touching the bracket 3.
