<p>A method of culturing adherent cells from a placenta or adipose tissue is disclosed. The method comprising culturing the adherent cells from the placenta or adipose tissue under 2 dimensional (2D) culturing conditions which allow cell expansion, the conditions comprising continuous passaging of the cells for at least 4 passages.</p>
