<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger management system which can achieve early return to a passenger's transportation means by managing the passengers of a transportation means (e.g., a bus) which can transport great many people. <P>SOLUTION: This system is constituted by including: a mobile terminal 2 which a passenger of a bus carries; a manager terminal 3 which a manager uses; and a management server 6. The manager terminal 3 transmits identification of one or two or more passengers to the management server 6, and performs requests for confirmation of whereabouts of two or more passengers by batch. The management server 6, when receiving a request for confirmation on whereabouts from the manager terminal 3, requests transmission of the position information to the mobile terminal 2 which the passenger corresponding to the received identification carries, and responding to the request for transmission of position information, transmits the information on whereabouts based on the position information transmitted from the mobile terminal 2 to the manager terminal 3.
