<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitting device capable of transmitting equal drive torques for right and left wheels which is lightweight and compact while securing required mechanism in a lean manner and a four-wheel drive car using the power transmitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmitting device 1 is provided with a casing 3 as an input member for inputting a driving force, a pair of output members 5, 7, a pair of multiple disk clutches 9, 11 respectively arranged between the casing 3 and the pair of output members 5, 7 and an actuator 13 for simultaneously engaging with the pair of multiple disk clutches 9, 11. The actuator 13 is provided with a pilot clutch 15, an electromagnet 17 as a control source and a cam mechanism 19. The pair of multiple disk clutches 9, 11 are set so that drive torques output from the pair of output members 5, 7 become equivalent when an engaging force is applied from the cam mechanism 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
