DRINKING DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking detector capable of accurately estimating the concentration of an alcohol in the blood of an examinee.

SOLUTION: The drinking detector 1 is equipped with a skin secretion measuring sensor 2 for measuring the component of the skin secretion of the finger or palm of a driver, a skin moisture amount measuring sensor 3 for measuring the skin moisture amount of the finger or palm of the driver and an ECU 4. The ECU 4 inputs the measured value of the skin secretion measuring sensor 2 and that of the skin moisture amount measuring sensor 3 and performs correction for dividing the measured value of the skin secretion measuring sensor 2 by the measured value of the skin moisture amount measuring sensor 3 to estimate the concentration of the alcohol in the blood of the driver. This correcting calculation is performed to eliminate the estimation irregularity in the concentration of the alcohol in the blood caused by the individual difference of the skin moisture amount.
