The vehicle (1) has a folding top (3) comprising a folding top element i.e. flexible folding top cover (5), that is movable between releasing and closing positions for releasing and closing a passenger compartment (7), respectively. The folding top element is arranged in sections in a retaining area (31) in the releasing position. The retaining area is formed by a rear flap (11). The folding top element with a tail-lateral end is arranged at the rear flap. The rear flap is tiltably arranged at the vehicle.
